June 19, 2013, 7:00 pm to 11:59 pm

The 2nd Show of the Series features St. Paul and the Broken Bones along with Shoal’s natives-- The Pollies! If you haven’t heard of St. Paul and the Broken Bones you’ve been living under a rock! Recently they were featured in Paste Magazine’s “12 Alabama Bands you Should Listen to Now”—“The only thing more impressive than (Paul’s) soulful, vocal chops is his charisma on stage. The band has only been around nine months, but this Southern-soul ensemble has already started garnering attention, including praise from NPR. The band is currently working on their first full-length album being produced by Ben Tanner on the Single Lock Records label of Tanner and John Paul White. St. Paul and the Bones recently opened for John Mayer in Tuscaloosa and also performed at 2013’s Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores. The Pollies first album review in Relix Magazine states—“Welcome to the world of The Pollies – where the fenders of beauty are rusted out and the muffler fell off a while back, but oh , sweet Jesus … what a ride. I’m telling you right now: pay attention to The Pollies.” Tickets are $10 online and can also be purchased at FloBama, Fame Recording Studios, and Big River Broadcasting.
