Drop Diver

Drop Diver was formed in 2018 in a rusty, beached houseboat in the side yard of a north Alabama crematorium. This boat would serve as lead singer’s, Garrison Lemmond’s home and sanctuary for him and his friends to host long nights of musical debauchery hidden from impedimental eyes of adult supervision.

In 2019, Drop Diver recorded its debut album at Clearwater Recording Studios with producer, Jerry Stephens. The band began playing bars, house shows, and local festivals. Reuniting with Stephens in 2021, Drop Diver began work on their sophomore record, Model Citizens (released 2022).

Drop Diver is a young underground garage/indie/alt-rock band that uses sixties-style writing and analog recording techniques, yet crafts tracks that appeal to a modern audience.

The band consists of Evan Ohlsen on lead guitar and backing vocals, Dylan Coty on bass guitar and backing vocals, Brennan Persing on drums and percussion, and Garrison Lemmond on lead vocals and guitar.
